Just thinking of you my beautiful son, Dad. Thank you Laura Gregory for your kind words. Gary is protecting you where ever you are. God Bless you. Posted by Paul E. Geidel

On Saturday September 8th, 2012 my partner and I participated in a memorial stair climb in San Diego Ca. We are both LA county firemen and every firefighter participant was assigned a person lost at the WTC on 9/11 I was assigned Gary Geidel and was given a lanyard with Gary s name and photo which I wore around my neck. As I climbed in full turnout gear and breathing apparatus the only thing that gave me the strength to finish climbing all 110 floors was the memory of Gary and the sacrifice he and others made on that fateful day. As Laura Gregory mentioned above you will never be forgotten! Posted by Victor Rossi

after 9-11 my son and I decided to pick a name from the list of lives lost so we picked Garys Geidels name and had a bracelet with his name made I continue to wear everyday in his honor and I always wear it when I travel this way Gary is always with me and so he can travel around the world and "see" what I get to see Ireland London Wales Mexico Belize Philippines and the Hawaiian islands. I always feel a little safer because of the bracelet. On this 10th anniversary Gary will be riding a motorcycle to a Patriot Day celebration in Phoenix AZ. You will NEVER be forgotten! Today I had the honor of carrying Gary's name 110 floors to it's final resting place. The bigger honor was having the opportunity to meet Gary's father Paul before climbing the tower. I cannot describe how thankful I am to have had the opportunity to hear Gary's story from him. Gary was with me throughout the climb and kept me pushing on. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to to pay respects to all 343 of my brothers Posted by Christopher John
